Four senior executives in the charitable sector have been named as the 2003 recipients of Muttart Fellowships. Each will leave their agency for one year to undertake a special project of interest and of concern to the charitable sector.

This year’s Fellows are:

Maureen Collins is executive director of the Edmonton John Howard Society. Ms. Collins has produced a workbook, ‘Responding to Diversity’, a personal, thoughtful and action oriented reflection on her journey as she facilitated an organizational change process of responding to diversity. Using the particular approach of ‘Just Therapy’ as the framework, the author covers concepts of developing meaningful partnerships, reciprocity, and sharing power. This workbook can be used as a tool by individuals for personal reflection or by working groups to focus discussion.  The workbook is of value to groups who are just starting to think about how to address issues of diversity in service work and to those who already have experience.
