Ms. Sloan describes the common themes that emerged that are critical to the success of this relationship: trust and respect, job functions that support each other, organizational climate and effectiveness, certain leadership qualities, and emotional intelligence. The book contains practical strategies to implement changes in these areas as well as a list of resources relevant to the subject.
