
Talking About Charities 2006
The Muttart Foundation has released “Talking About Charities 2006,” a public opinion poll to survey Canadians on their views about charities and issues affecting charities.
The 2006 study is the third wave of a research initiative. Previous surveys were conducted in 2000 and 2004. The Foundation has committed to repeating the study in 2008.
From this website, you can obtain a copy of the report, charts that graphically demonstrate results on either a national and demographic or provincial basis, or detailed tables showing responses based on various demographic factors. Click on the item you would like to see.

About Charities 2004
The Muttart Foundation has released “Talking About Charities”
2004 – a national public-opinion poll in which Canadians give
their impressions about charities and issues affecting charities.
The report is available in hard copy, at a nominal cost, from the
Resource Centre for
Voluntary Organizations at Grant MacEwan College and from Volunteer
Calgary.

Talking About Charities 2000
The Muttart Foundation is pleased to present 'Talking About
Charities: Canadians' Opinions of Charities and Issues Affecting
Charities'. This study was prepared by the Canadian Centre
for Philanthropy, and surveyed the opinions of almost 3,900 Canadians.The
full report (85 pages) is available for download, or you may choose
to download only the Executive Summary (12 pages). We also have
available the press release and the speaking notes from the press
conference in Toronto unveiling the study. Also available are the
individual survey results for each of the provinces.Please contact
the Foundation directly to order a copy of the study should you
not be able to print a copy for yourself.

"What's It Worth?" December, 1998 Salary Survey
The Foundation released a study of compensation paid to some senior
people within the charitable sector in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The study, completed by KPMG, examined salaries and benefits paid
to executive directors/chief staff officers, managers one level
below the senior staff person, and volunteer co-ordinators.
