We're Looking for Advice22 June 2010
Our Board of Directors is reviewing our work under the Regional Umbrellas program. That program is designed to help the co-ordination of charities in ways that will provide them with greater capacity to be involved in policy issues. We’d welcome the advice of others in the charitable sector as to how we can best invest in opportunities to further our interests in this program in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
As part of its initial review, the Foundation commissioned a study that was supported, in part, by Alberta Culture and Community Spirit. To download a copy of the report, please click here. The Foundation is using this report as one source of information; it has not accepted or endorsed the report’s conclusions and recommendations.
Our Board would welcome your reaction to the report and to the questions raised in it. Since our Board will be considering this issue in September, it would be most helpful if we could have your comments by August 31. Please address your advice to Bob Wyatt, Executive Director, by e-mail at bwyatt@muttart.org or by post to The Muttart Foundation, Suite 1150, 10060 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5J 3R8.
Thank you for helping us think through these issues.
